APEM PBAK Series reinforced 19mm piezo switch provides protection against vandalism. This anti-vandal switch offers extended protection thanks to a stainless steel (316L) body with a polycarbonate illumination ring. Its design makes it perfectly robust and suitable for various outdoor applications such as bike sharing stations, emergency call boxes or parking meters.
The reinforced PBAK series is sealed to IP69K and can withstand impacts of up to IK06 (equivalent to one joule) and delivers a very long-life expectancy up to 50 million cycles. Additionally, it features a bright RGB illumination feedback to increase visibility in all conditions.
The reinforces PBAK is a vandal resistant switch that combines user experience and full protection, making it an ideal choice for applications that require impacts resistance.
APEM Piezo switches are based on a solid-state output allowing for a very long life expectancy (more than 50 millions cycles), ideal for demanding applications where reliability is most important. The flat actuation surface is completely closed, preventing the intrusion of liquids or other contaminants, perfect for surface cleaning required in the medical and food-processing industries. High performance sealing (IP68 and IP69K) is achieved due to the one-piece construction of the switch. No external power supply is required. The screw-machined metal housing construction and APEM’s vertical integration allow for the manufacture of a variety of shapes.
