Description
The PST860 series is a sub-miniature pressure sensor. Operating from –40 up to +125°C, three compensated temperature ranges are available to best suit your application‘s environment. Its wetted parts being stainless steel, it is compatible with most media, including corrosive fluids used in automotive and aerospace industries. High performances and stability over temperature are achieved thanks to EFE proprietary sensing technologies. The robust and proven design of the sensor ensures reliability in your application. The PST860 series is available with unamplified (mV/V) and amplified voltage output (0,5-4,5Vdc), integrating a high performance and rugged electronic module.
NOTE: PST861 has replaced PST101

The EFE Engineering Department is responsible for designing all our sensors, from sensing elements to state of the art PCBs. To meet the customer’s high requirements, EFE decided very early on to develop its propriety sensing technology for pressure transducers. This technology, thin film, is manufactured mainly using a physical vapour deposit, and more precisely sputtering process on a metal diaphragm (stainless steel, titanium, inconel, hastelloy, etc.). This film is used by EFE is the only technology which does not require any intermediary between the sensing element and the fluid to be measured as with an oil separator for silicon based sensors or O-rings for ceramic technology.
